மூன்று தசாப்த காலத்துக்கும் மேற்பட்ட போரினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட எமது மக்கள் இயல்பு வாழ்க்கைக்குத் திரும்புவதற்குப் பெரும் சவால்களை எதிர்கொள்ள வேண்டியிருக்கிறது. இச் சவால்களுக்கு முகங்கொடுத்தவாறே இயற்கைப் பேரிடர்களையும், பெருந்தொற்று நோய்களையும் அவர்கள் எதிர்கொள்ள வேண்டியிருக்கிறது. இவர்களில் வறுமைக் கோட்டுக்குக்கீழ் வாழுகின்ற, தொழில் வாய்ப்பிழந்த மற்றும் பெண் தலைமைத்துவக் குடும்பங்களில் அவசிய உதவி தேவைப்படுபவர்களை அடையாளங்கண்டு அவர்களினுடைய நலனை ஓம்புகின்ற பணியைத் தமிழ்த்தேசியப் பசுமை இயக்கம் முன்னெடுத்து வருகிறது.

சிறுதொழில் முயற்சிகளை ஊக்குவித்தல், கற்றலுக்கான உதவிகள் வழங்குதல், பேரிடர்க்கால நிவாரண உணவுப் பொதிகள் வழங்குதல் மற்றும் அவசர மருத்துவ சிகிச்சைகளுக்கான உதவிகளை வழங்குதல் ஆகியனவற்றை நன்கொடையாளர்களின் உதவியோடு முன்னெடுத்து வருகிறது. எங்களுடன் கரங்கோர்த்து எமது சமூக நலனோம்புச் செயற்பாடுகளுக்கு ஆதரவளிக்குமாறு தங்களைத் தயவுடன் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறோம்.

Our people who are affected by over three decades of war, have been facing great challenges to return to normalcy. During this strenuous transition from war to normalcy, they are also being affected by natural disasters and pandemics. Tamil National Green Organization (TNGO) is working to identify families that need the extra support, families that live well below the poverty line, families that have lost their breadwinners and those families that are headed mainly by women.
